Meet the Alcacor Team

Introducing Reto, our esteemed COO and Co-Founder, whose invaluable contributions have been instrumental in the growth and success of Alcacor. We are extremely fortunate to have Reto on our team, as he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.

As the COO, Reto handles all the administrative and financial aspects of the business, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Reto started his career as an entrepreneur when he was 25. Left a highly-paid managing director position in Switzerland, and when the iPhone was released, he knew that was the moment to jump. This was the mega trend he wanted to be part of. During the last 15 years, he built up several companies, hired hundreds of people and offices all over Europe, and retired two years ago when he sold a payment service provider to a big layer one blockchain company. He spent days playing golf all summer, but he got so bored. When Christine and Magnus presented Alcacor, he immediately said yes. Their values, ideas, and power in the industry convinced Reto big time. With Reto’s extensive background in entrepreneurship and management, he has played a pivotal role in building and scaling several successful companies over the years.

Reto's passion for innovation and his keen eye for spotting trends led him to join Alcacor, where he was drawn to our vision, values, and the tremendous potential of our platform. His dedication and hard work have been instrumental in getting us to where we are today, and we are incredibly grateful for his contributions.

Despite the challenges that come with starting a new venture, Reto remains driven and focused on our long-term success. His ultimate goal is to help our networkers achieve financial freedom and success, and he is committed to sharing the rewards of our hard work with the entire community.

In his personal life, Reto is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his loved ones in the beautiful city of Barcelona. He also has a passion for statistics, which reflects his excitement for tracking the growth and progress of Alcacor.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have Reto as a captain of our team, and we look forward to continuing to work together toward a bright and successful future.

Member Spotlight of the week

It's our pleasure to introduce you to Sean, one of our valued members hailing from the beautiful Philippines. Sean is a lively and vibrant individual passionate about music and dancing. Even though he claims he's not particularly good at it, he enjoys dancing with all his heart.

Sean has been a part of the cryptocurrency world for a year and a half now, and his very first project was XScape from the XRPL. His experience in the crypto world and his love for engaging communities brought him to Alcacor. Our developers' kindness and our community's warmth impressed him.

At Alcacor, we are thrilled to have Sean as a moderator. His dedication to the community and his expertise in the crypto world is an asset to us. Sean is excited about the potential that Alcacor has and its growth prospects. He sees Alcacor as a platform with tremendous potential, and his enthusiasm is contagious.

CRYPTO WALLET Hot and cold wallets are the primary means of storing and exchanging cryptocurrencies and tokens. Hot and cold crypto wallets each come with specific advantages. If you’re searching for convenience, choose a hot wallet; if you’re looking for greater security, then a cold wallet will be the right choice. However, it’s a good practice to use both types of wallets to recognize and take preventive measures to counteract the flaws in both. And always DYOR what wallet You use, no matter hot or cold.

HOT WALLET A hot wallet is connected to the internet and could be vulnerable to online attacks, which could lead to stolen funds. The primary benefit of using a hot wallet is its level of convenience: It can provide ease of use and a well-designed interface. Examples of hot wallets are MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase wallet.

COLD WALLET A cold wallet is typically not connected to the internet. A cold wallet offers more security benefits because it’s less possible to hack and is, therefore, less vulnerable to loss of digital assets. The usability is more complex. Come as a physical device, such as a USB stick. Examples are Ledger and Tresor.
