The SEC issued crypto exchange Coinbase a Wells notice, warning the exchange that it identified potential violations of U.S. securities law

Some call this action “a war against crypto.” The background was that Coinbase (reasonably) asked the SEC staff to tell them which specific tokens the SEC contends are securities.

As an “answer,” Coinbase got legal threats.

Terraform Labs founder arrested

Do Kwon, the founder of the failed crypto company Terraform Labs, was arrested in Montenegro on Thursday as he tried to board a private flight using a forged passport. Kwon has now become a target of criminal investigators in at least three countries.

Microsoft is building a cryptocurrency wallet for its Edge browser

Some positive development this week is that the software giant has been testing the Microsoft Edge built-in crypto wallet internally in recent months, with plans to ship it to consumers eventually.

She has led projects in several blockchains and is well-versed in the intricacies of DAOs, making her an invaluable asset to any organization looking to leverage the potential of web3.

Currently, Anna manages the NFT collection and web3 community within Alcacor, a role she landed as an advisor before being blown away by the team's positive attitude and exciting user case. Anna is confident that the community has grown strong and has revolutionized the market by leveraging web3 at this early stage.

PFP is a collectible, generative avatar used for ProFile Pictures. As collectibles, they often come in large numbers. Like trading cards, PFPs also have varying degrees of rarity. A PFP NFT is a non-fungible token, an asset that exists mostly on the Ethereum blockchain with a unique digital identity. Cryptopunks are a well-known PFP collection where many of the owners of these NFTs have their Cryptopunk as their profile picture on social media.

COIN is a cryptocurrency built on its own native blockchain, intended to be used as a store of value and medium of exchange within that ecosystem. i.e., BTC, ETH

TOKEN, unlike a coin, a token is a digital asset created on someone else existing blockchain and hasn´t got its own. Tokens can be used to represent digital and physical assets. i.e., USDT (Tether), USD Coin, DAI
